Refunds & Cancellations

At High Range Retreat, we keep our groups small and our instruction personal. Because space is limited, the following policy helps us plan effectively while offering fair options if your plans change.

Standard Cancellation Windows

• Full Refund (Grace Period): Cancel within 7 days of booking for any reason to receive a 100% refund.

• Credit for a Future Retreat: Cancel after 7 days but at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to receive a 100% credit toward a future retreat.

• No Refunds Within 48 Hours: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the retreat start time are not eligible for a refund or credit.

How to Cancel

All refund or credit requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected]. Your request is considered received when our team replies to confirm.

Credits & Rescheduling

• Credit Value: Credits are issued at 100% of the amount paid for the canceled registration (excluding any third-party processing fees).

• Validity: Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and may be applied to any High Range Retreat offering with available space. If for some reason you have a special circumstance that will prevent you from using the credit within the 12 month period, please speak with Ariel to discuss your specific situation.

• Transfer: Credits may be transferred once to another person with written approval via email prior to the new retreat’s start date.

Weather & Safety

Wilderness Survival Training is offered year-round—rain, snow, or shine. In the event of extreme or unsafe weather that prevents us from holding the training, you will receive a credit to enroll in a future session. High Range Retreat reserves the right to modify the schedule or reschedule the event for safety reasons.

No-Shows & Late Arrivals

Participants who do not attend and do not notify us are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund or credit. Late arrivals may join upon arrival; however, missed sessions are not refundable.

Changes by High Range Retreat

In the rare case we must cancel or significantly change a program (e.g., instructor illness or facility issue), you will be offered a full refund or a 100% credit toward a future date—your choice.

Payment Notes

Refunds, when applicable, are processed to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, funds may take up to 10 business days to appear. Third-party service or processing fees, if any, are not controlled by High Range Retreat and may be non-refundable.
